The Betty M. Condra School is seeking a Part-Time Special Education Teacher to assist our school with our goal of helping children to reach their potential.
QUALIFICATIONS include a Bachelor's degree as well as a Texas Teaching Certificate, Special Education Certification and Special Education Experience.
The right candidate will help drive our children to realize their own superior results in reading and phonics. At the Condra School we encourage our teachers to assist the children to reach or exceed their goals that will further their education in accordance with the TEKS and each student's individual needs.
At the Condra School, we collaborate with the Administration of the Condra School, the families and the students, and otherteachers and aides to develop and implement IEP/504 plans to help each child reach and outperform their own goals. We ask that each of our teachers attend weekly meetings and collaborate with their fellow teachers and aides on student behavior management and IEP/504 compliance. If needed, we coordinate with outside providers to address the needs of the special education students.
