Job Description
Ralls Independent School District is seeking a dynamic and experienced instructional leader to serve as the High School Principal at Ralls High School. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, strong leadership, and a student-centered approach. This individual will be responsible for the overall administration of the high school campus, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-performing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional leadership to support high academic achievement and student success.
- Oversee day-to-day school operations, including personnel management, student discipline, and facilities management.
- Foster a positive school culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and high expectations.
- Lead the development and implementation of campus improvement plans aligned with district goals.
- Supervise and support faculty and staff through professional development, evaluations, and mentoring.
- Collaborate with district leadership, parents, and community stakeholders to strengthen school-community relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
- Manage campus budgets and resources efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
- Valid Texas Principal Certification.
- Minimum of three years of successful experience in campus-level administration (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction, assessment, and school improvement strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and build a positive, inclusive campus culture.
