Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a Texas Standard Principal’s Certificate
- Hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution for higher education
- Prior experience in instructional leadership roles preferred
- TTESS certified appraiser (may be obtained during employment)
- 3 years experience as a classroom teacher
- Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- The ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
- The ability to manage budget and personnel and coordinate campus functions
- The ability to explain policy, procedures, and data
- Strong communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills
