Applicants must have:
-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
-Valid teaching certificate with required endorsements
-Secondary or other certification preferred or in an alt cert program required
-Knowledge of subjects assigned and general knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
-Adept at instructing students and managing their behavior.
-Ability to motivate students and inspire confidence needed for everyday skills and tasks.
-Excellent communication skills are also vital, as you will interact with students, parents, and educators on a daily basis.
-ESL certified
Morton ISD pays 90% of Teacher Incentive Allotment directly to teachers. Morton offers a highly competitive salary with and is a TEA Teachers Incentative Allotment (TIA) approved district.
TIA Designation for Morton ISD with an approved Designation on their current certificate will be allotted 90% of the TEA approved designation amounts. Current allotment for Morton ISD is Tier 4:
