Springlake-Earth ISD is seeking a qualified English Language Learner(ELL) Teacher.  The district offers a 4 day instructional week, housing (if available), $5,000 stipend (2024-25 school year only/currently, professional positions only), Christmas bonus, free lunches and $307 toward major medical insurance. The ideal candidate will provide ELL students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them acquire language skills and fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels. Work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments

ELL certification preferred. 

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of language acquistion skills and strategies. 
Knowledge of how to adapt curriculum and instruction for ELL Students
Effective communication skills
