Elementary Vice Principal

Betty M. Condra School is seeking a dynamic and experienced instructional leader to serve as the Vice Principal. The ideal candidate will direct and manage assigned areas of instructional program and discipline management. The right applicant will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, strong leadership and a student-centered approach. This individual will ensure a safe, inclusive and high-performing educational environment while overseeing student activities. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Texas Principal Certification or other appropriate Texas certificate

• Certified Texas Teacher Support and Evaluation System (T-Tess) appraiser

• Experience in campus-level administration (preferred)

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Knowledge of campus operations

• Provide instructional leadership to support high academic achievement and student success

• Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction

• Working knowledge of behavior management to oversee student discipline

• Foster a positive school culture that promotes respect, responsibility and high expectations

• Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness

• Ability to manage personnel

• Lead the development and implementation of campus improvement plans aligned with district goals

• Ability to interpret data

• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ensure compliance with all district, state and federal policies and regulations
